Job Purpose
The incumbent is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, conducting analyses on systems, general systems design alternatives and maintenance of the CCCJ Computer hardware and software and related infrastructure and writing and maintaining user and systems related documentation. The incumbent will also ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff, volunteers and partners to perform their duties effectively.

Minimum Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor degree in Information Technology, Computer Sciences or equivalent from a recognized tertiary institution
• At least three (3) years’ experience in a WINDOWS/UNIX/LINUX environment or in the similar required field
• Post graduate qualification in Computer Sciences or equivalent desirable

Special Conditions Associated with the Job
• Normal office environment but will be exposed to lower temperatures and dust when working with computers.
• May be required to work beyond normal office hours, possibly long, irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, particularly for malfunctioning or implementation of systems, etc.
• The incumbent is faced with constant interruptions, handling multiple demands simultaneously, complete tasks within tight deadlines, and must meet with others on a regular basis. Can be a stressful working environment.
REMUNERATION
Salary: $ 3 501 526.00 per annum
