Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will support the Director of Corporate Services and Administration by performing administrative functions and providing a broad range of complex, confidential administrative and secretarial support.
Key Outputs
• Managing the office by relieving the Director, Corporate Services and Administration of routine requests and matters.
• Ensuring that all official obligations are met by arranging meetings, conferences and ensuring that all relevant parties are advised and arrangements are made.
• Providing the necessary administrative support to ensure effective management of the Director, Corporate Services and Administration.
• Coordinating the Director of Corporate Services and Administration.
• Opening, sorting, and distributing incoming correspondence, including email.
• Monitoring matters that have been passed to the Director, Corporate Services and Administration desk for action, ensuring that they are pursued to finality.
• Liaising with educational institutions’ staff in as well as, the Private Sector entities to arrange meetings and other business on behalf of the Director, Corporate Services and Administration
• Keeping records of all deadlines that have to be met and important matters that have been dealt with, bringing them to the attention of the Director, Corporate Services and Administration interfacing with the officers and departments concerned to ensure that the deadlines are observed.
• Handling the daily administrative functions of the office of Director, Corporate Services and Administration and managing the timelines for all upcoming projects, issues, and reports and commitment.
Minimum Required Education and Experience
• Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• At least one (1) year related working experience

• High compliance with and at all times produce executive level correspondence, report writing and presentations research and ‘mine’ for information/data work with confidential information work on own initiative and under pressure High proficiency in the knowledge of relevant computer applications
Special Conditions Associated with the Job
• Normal indoor office environment.
• The incumbent must deal with a wide variety of people on various issues. There are also a number of deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant stress.
REMUNERATION
Salary: $ 2 190 302.00 per annum
