Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant will assist the Director of Curriculum Development with administrative duties by providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative and secretarial support.
Key Outputs
• Efficient coordination and management of the Director’s daily schedule and appointments.
• Timely organization and coordination of meetings, conferences, workshops, and training sessions.
• Accurate preparation, proofreading, and distribution of correspondence, reports, agendas, minutes, and other official documents.
• Effective management of incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and telephone inquiries.
• Maintenance of an organized filing and records management system for easy retrieval of information.
• Timely monitoring and follow-up of assignments, deadlines, and matters requiring action.
• Provision of confidential administrative and secretarial support to the Director, Curriculum Development.
• Preparation and submission of routine monthly reports and other required reports.
• Effective liaison with educational institutions, private sector entities, and internal departments.
• Proper preparation and coordination of meeting briefs and supporting materials.
• Maintenance and support of the Quality Management System.
• Professional front office and reception support when required.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
• Associate Degree in Business Administration or a related field
• At least one (1) year related working experience

Special Conditions Associated with the Job
• Normal indoor office environment. May be required to work occasional irregular hours, and travel to meetings island wide locations with the Director of Curriculum Development as needed.
• The incumbent must deal with a wide variety of people on various issues. There are also a number of deadlines associated with this position, which may cause significant stress.
REMUNERATION
Salary: $ 2 190 302.00 per annum
