The Office of Student Services of the Council of Community Colleges of Jamaica (CCCJ) provides support to the Community College Network by planning, organizing and managing all activities related to records and registration in compliance with attendant policies, procedures and legislation: as well as collaborate with administrators and faculty to facilitate and improve service to our students.

This department recognized its responsibility to the colleges and to its primary clientele, the students and is committed to providing quality and efficient service in a timely manner by:
- Managing and/or overseeing the student recruitment, admission and registration, records, and, within approved policies, system and procedures governing student retention/enrolment for community colleges.
- Developing, managing and implement policies, systems and procedures, as well as determine quality standards, for student admission and records management at Community Colleges.
- Managing, coordinating and monitoring the design, maintenance and feedback, as well as the implement accountability and confidentiality measures for all student records at the Council in collaboration with other technocrats
- Overseeing the production and dispatch of semester grade reports for students enrolled in the programmes run by the CCCJ.
- Responding to all queries/requests for review in relation to student grades
- Leading and directing the assessment of equivalency and exemption requests of our students
- Researching and developing matriculation arrangements for CCCJ degree holders and other tertiary institutions, local and overseas
- Managing the internal enrolment process for students within the Community Colleges.
- Ensuring the confirmation of matriculation status of all students enrolled in CCCJ programmes.
- Identifying scholarship opportunities for students, graduates and faculty of the community colleges
- Collaborating with academia and administration at community colleges and other tertiary institutions to facilitate and improve services to students, including catalogue and registration policy questions.
- Developing policy guidelines and procedures for the efficient operation in our institutions
- Initiating and maintaining effective working relations with external and internal stakeholders and clients and ensure that the Office provides a consistently high level of service to them.
- Promoting, supporting, and engaging in outreach efforts, marketing and public relations activities
- Conducting, arranging and/or facilitate professional development activities for academia and administration personnel of community colleges.
- Providing certification and awards after programme completion
