The CCCJ prides itself in being a quality standard body and as such conducts regular quality assurance visits to the colleges to ensure compliance. Additionally, community college programmes are submitted to the University Council of Jamaica (UCJ), the National Accreditation Agency of Jamaica. Community College programmes also benefit from national, regional and international recognition from several colleges and universities overseas. Most of the CCCJ programmes are accredited by UCJ.
