The Architectural and Construction Technology programme is a two-year Associate Degree that seeks to provide individuals with theoretical, technical and vocational knowledge and skills that will lead to employment and further studies in the field of architectural technology. The courses will enable the graduate to work in related areas or continue toward a bachelor’s degree in an associated field of technology such as Construction Management, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Land Surveying etc.

The building technician graduating with a CCCJ Associate of Science Degree in Architectural and Construction Technology, will be able to undertake work requiring a knowledge of drafting, construction materials, mechanical and structural systems, estimating, site and building design fundamentals and presentation methods, building codes and specifications, and computer applications.
